Lighter leaderboard: questions and answers

Where does the leaderboard data come from?

HyperScan takes the official Lighter leaderboard every hour and shows the top 500 traders for each period. PnL and ROI are calculated by Lighter itself.

Why are some large accounts missing?

Traders who did not trade in the selected period are hidden: holders of spot tokens show “profit” from price changes without a single trade. Vaults such as HLP are hidden too.

How is ROI calculated?

ROI is the PnL for the period divided by the account size, as Lighter calculates it. The ROI ranking only includes accounts of $100K and more, otherwise tiny accounts with thousands of percent would be on top.

Can I see what a top trader is holding right now?

Yes. Click a trader to see their open positions live. Add the address to favorites, and HyperScan will start tracking it: trade history, position changes and notifications in Telegram.
