What is HyperEVM?

The Ethereum-compatible smart contract environment of the Hyperliquid blockchain, running alongside HyperCore.

HyperEVM lets developers deploy Ethereum-style smart contracts on Hyperliquid: lending, DEXs, liquid staking and other DeFi apps. It shares the chain and its security with HyperCore.

The native gas token of HyperEVM is HYPE. Assets can move between HyperCore and HyperEVM, so DeFi apps can build on top of Hyperliquid liquidity.
