How Lighter alerts work

Anomalous order: a market order or a series of them from $250K that takes at least 1.5% of the coin’s 24h volume; from 3% it is extreme. Lighter is about ten times smaller than Hyperliquid, so its thresholds are lower.

Whale consensus: at least 90% of directional whale money on one side of a coin (from $1M in whale positions and at least 3 whales); the alert about its end comes below 85%. Squeeze risk: liquidations within reach outweigh the order book in that range. Extreme funding: from 100% a year. Whale near liquidation: a position from $1M within 3% of its liquidation price.
